New Species of Gecko Discovered in India

A new species of gecko, Eublepharis pictus, has been discovered in the Indian states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

It is a strictly nocturnal species that measures 11.7 cm in length and is found in dry evergreen forests mixed with scrub and meadows.
